Al Habbai Contracting forms main contractor for Sabah Rotana project

According to *Arabian Business news report, RSG Group of Companies has announced the appointment of Al Habbai Contracting as the main contractor for its Sabah Rotana project on Dubai's main highway.

The contract, worth AED500 million ($136 million), is for the construction of a 54-floor building on Sheikh Zayed Road.

To be launched before Expo 2020, the five-star hotel and hotel apartments is projected to be completed in two and a half years.

RSG Group of Companies has announced the appointment of Al Habbai Contracting as the main contractor for its Sabah Rotana project on Dubai's main highway.

The contract, worth AED500 million ($136 million), is for the construction of a 54-floor building on Sheikh Zayed Road.

To be launched before Expo 2020, the five-star hotel and hotel apartments is projected to be completed in two and a half years.

Sabah Rotana is a collaboration between property developer, RSG Group of Companies, and Rotana, the UAE-based hotel management company.

The tower encompasses hotel rooms, serviced hotel apartments, food & beverage outlets, nightclubs and meeting rooms plus an opulent Sky bar.

Raj Sahni, founder and chairman of RSG Group of Companies, said: “The road was long, and it was tough to finalise the main contractor that matched the same level of passion and commitment towards Sabah Rotana. In the end, the search yielded great results in the form of Al Habbai Contracting LLC, whom we welcome to a long partnership with us.”

The project has already received pre-approval under the category rating of five-stars by the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).
