Al Jaber wins US$ 699 mn ADNOC deal

Al Jaber Building has won a AED 2.57 billion (US$ 699 million) contract from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) to build 40 residential buildings for its married staff at the Ruwais Housing Complex Expansion Phase IV.
The project covers an area of 670,000 square meters with a total built up area of 521,000 square meters; it includes 40 residential buildings consisting of six levels and totaling 1,920 residential units, in addition to mosques and car parks. It is scheduled for completion in two years.
H.E. Obaid Khaleefa Al Jaber Al Marri, chairman of Al Jaber Group, said: "This is the fifth project that we execute for ADNOC. To be the contractor on such an important project is a great privilege for Al Jaber Building and an important continuation of Al Jaber Group 's historic and ongoing dedication to develop the UAE and wider region. We are looking forward to delivering more prestigious projects with ADNOC.”
Al Jaber Building has previously executed several projects within Ruwais Housing Complex Expansion - Phase III, which included the construction of 21 buildings for married staff, five buildings for bachelors, 56 luxurious villas and service buildings with internal road networks, in addition to panoramic gardens and leisure areas.
