Aldar Properties reports 9.1% increase in net profit for Q4 2015

Aldar Properties has reported a 9.1% increase in net attributable profit for the fourth quarter of 2015, according to Reuters calculations.


The state-linked builder of Abu Dhabi's Formula One circuit made a profit attributable to equity holders of $206.9m (AED760m) in the three months to December 31.

This compares with a profit of $189.5 (AED696.3m) in the corresponding period of 2014, according to Constructionweekonline news report.

An analyst at SICO Bahrain had forecast Aldar would make a quarterly attributable profit of $139.5m (AED512.7m).

The Abu Dhabi company's 2015 net profit was $619.5m (AED2.54bn), according to a bourse statement.

This compares with a net profit of $609.8m (AED2.24bn) in the corresponding period of 2014.
