MoIAT partners with BEEAH Group

In UAE, the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) oversaw the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Veolia Middle East subsidiary Repeet, BEEAH Group, and Agthia which will lay the groundwork for new 40,000sq.m plastic recycling facility.
As per the plans, the 12,000 tons per annum polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling plant will be located in Abu Dhabi.

Ellington Properties announced new project

A US$327mn residential project was announced by Ellington Properties which will include 754 units and located in the Jumeirah Lake Towers in Dubai. The tower named Upper House will be designed by Brewer Smith Brewer Group (BSBG) and expected to be completed by early 2026.

Select Group awarded Six Senses Residence

Select Group has awarded the construction contract for its Six Senses Residence, The Palm to iBUILD Construction LLC, part of ASGC. Spread over 111,483m2, the development comprises Penthouses, Duplex Sky Villas, nine Signature Beachfront Villas, Six Senses Hotel, and Six Senses Place, a 5,574m2 premium wellness and leisure facility.

Bloom Holding partners with Emirates Link Maltauro

Bloom Holding appointed Emirates Link Maltauro LLC as the main contractor for the first phase of its US$2.5bn Bloom Living community, Cordoba in Abu Dhabi. Scheduled is completion in Q4 2024.

NPCC partners with Saipem and CPECC

National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) with its joint-venture partners Saipem and China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corporation (CPECC) has confirmed the award of a US$60 Mn offshore pre-construction service agreement for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (Adnoc’s) multi-billion dollar Hail & Ghasha sour gas development project.

EVM Arabia signs US$905mn contract

EV Metals Arabia Company for Industry (EVM Arabia), a global battery materials and technology company, announced the signing of agreements for the allocation of 1.27 million sq m area of land from The Royal Commission at Yanbu and a gas and power allocation from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy.
A new battery chemicals complex will be set up with an investment of US$905mn. The complex will see staged development and expansion of a lithium chemicals plant and a nickel chemicals plant.

Oman’s MTCIT invited EOI

Oman’s Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) has invited companies to submit offers by 6th April 2023 for design, build, operate, manage and maintain a pier dedicated to the handling of minerals at Manji in Dhofar Governorate.
The project will enable the large-scale commercial development of gypsum and other industrial minerals found in the pier’s neighborhood.
