Arma Electropanc wins US$ 7.8 mn University of Dubai MEP contract

AE Arma-Elektropanç (AE) has won a US$ 7.8 million (AED ) contract to carry out MEP works on the first phase of the University of Dubai project in Dubai Academic City, according to reports in


Main contractor Kier Dubai awarded AE the deal which will see the firm work on the university’s main building, management faculty buildings, and the information technology departments.

Covering a confined space of 21,200 square meters, the University of Dubai project is comprised of a number of phases and is affiliated with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI).

Commenting on the award, Burak Kizilhan, deputy general manager and AE board member, said: “We are continuing to sign new projects accross three continents – namely Europe, Asia and Africa. We are very proud to be a part of this prestigious educational project where Kier LLC is the main contractor and Dubai Chamber of Commerce is the client.

"We hope to grow our Middle East order book by being awarded a couple more projects for which we have been shortlisted and are waiting for the green signal.”

AE also revealed that it has handed over all the MEP works at Al Shobub Private School in Abu Dhabi.
