According to *Tradearabia news report, Azizi Developments, one of the leading private developers in the UAE, has awarded a major contract worth more than Dh216 million ($59 million) to Chirag Contracting, a BRV Global Group company, for developing four plots with a total area of over 1 million sq ft at its key developments - Azizi Riviera and Al Furjan.
Headquartered in Dubai, BRV is a multinational business group founded in 2000 and is one of the most trusted and qualified engineering and construction contractors in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Azizi said the contract is being implemented in two parts. The first part of the contract worth Dh164.8 million will see the development of three plots with a total area of over 769,515 sq ft in Phase One of Azizi Riviera, the flagship waterfront development in Meydan One, while the second part valued at Dh51.6 million is dedicated to a plot in Al Furjan with a total built up area of over 245,244 sq ft.
CEO Farhad Azizi said: "Delivering the projects as per schedule is our top priority and a commitment to our customers. Our new contract with Chirag Contracting, among several others, underlines our focus on working with best-in-class contractors to develop our developments to the highest standards of quality and aesthetics."
"Chirag brings strong experience in undertaking mega-developments that will ensure the desired standards for both projects," he stated.
Launched in July 2017, Azizi Riviera is the flagship community development that draws its inspiration from the French Riviera lifestyle.
Assuring a strong return on investment, Azizi Developments is on schedule with the progress of the project with several residences in the first phase set to be handed over this year, said the Dubai developer.
Upon completion, Azizi Riviera will have 71 mid-rise buildings, with over 16,000 residences including studios, and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, it added.
