Bahrain to appoint advisor for US$ 2 bn metro project

According to *Tradearabia news report, Bahrain will soon appoint a transaction advisor for its $2 billion metro project, reported the Gulf Daily News, citing a senior minister.
Once ready, the 109-km metro network, with electric driverless trains, will be capable of carrying 43,000 passengers per hour from more than 20 stations spread across the country, stated Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal Ahmed.
