Nakheel awards US$ 12.5 mn worth design contracts for Deira Island project

According to news reports, Dubai-based developer Nakheel has made progress on its Deira Islands Mall and Palm West Beach projects after it signed designed and engineering contracts worth US$12.5 million with RSP Architects, Planners and Engineers. Nakheel

Tenders for the construction of both projects are expected to be released before the end of 2014. A 620,000 square meter retail and entertainment hub will be developed at Deira Islands, the contract for which with RSP is worth US$ 10.8 million.
