Qatar to host warehouse facilities for SMEs

According to a report by Gulf Times, The Qatari Government has announced plans to provide storage facilities for small and medium sized companies. Three locations have been chosen to host the warehouses and other logistics facilities, in co-operation with the Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning, covering expansive areas of 498,000 square meters, 499,000 square meters, and 517,000 square meters, respectively.[..]

Abdullah Al Khodari Wins two Storm water drainage contracts in Saudi worth US$ 70 mn

 Abdullah AM Al-Khodari & Sons has won two contracts in Saudi Arabia worth more than US$ 70 million (SR 271 million). The Saudi contractor signed a US$33 million (SR 125 million) deal with Riyadh Municipality for the construction of a storm water drainage network in Murooj, Massif and Nakhil districts of the city. The project is expected to take 30 months to complete. The company has also inked a five-year contract worth US$38 million (SR145 million) with the Ministry of Municipal & Rural Affairs for the cleaning of Hafr Al Batin.[..]

Dubai WTC District to get region's largest economy hotel run by Accor

A leading hospitality major, Accor Hotel Services Middle East, has announced that it will operate the largest economy hotel in the region at the Dubai World Trade Centre District. The project would begin construction in the second quarter of 2014 and is due to be completed along with the first phase of the Dubai World Trade Centre District development in the final quarter of 2015, with operations beginning from the first quarter of 2016.[..]
