Hyundai Heavy Engineering wins US$ 1.94 bn contract for Package 2 of Nasr Full Field Development
Posted on 13th November 2014Hyundai Heavy Industries Company said it has won a US$1.94-billion order for the second package of the Nasr Full Field Development Project from Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO).
As per the deal, Hyundai Heavy will undertake construction and installation work for four fixed offshore platforms besides laying the 144-kilometer subsea power and 55-kilometer infield cables in the Nasr oil field, 131 kilometer northwest of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Korean company said it expected the contract to be completed by May 2019.
