Nakheel seeks builder to construct Palm Gateway on the Palm Jumeirah

Nakheel has floated a tender for the construction of The Palm Gateway on the Palm Jumeirah island in Dubai.
The project comprises of three towers to be constructed on an existing car parking podium (one basement and 14 floors) located at the entrance of Palm Jumeirah on Al Sufouh Road with a total built up area of 506,818 square meters including podium and beachfront, according to news reports on Construction Week Online.
The scope of work will comprise of an all inclusive construction package including structural works, building services, facade, finishes, landscape, civil and interior design works, design and build scope for a chiller plant and including modifications/alterations to the existing podium structure.
The existing podium has the Palm Jumeirah monorail station which will remain operational during the period of construction. The tender documents can be obtained upon submission of a non-refundable tender free of AED 100,000 along with a copy of the tenderer's valid trade license, starting from 8 December 2014.
Completed bids should be returned by midday on 11 January 2015.
