According to *Tradearabia news report, CBRE, the global real estate consulting firm with a major presence in all the GCC countries as well as Morocco, Egypt and Turkey, has appointed Ciaran Lynch as the new head of its property management service line in Bahrain.

With wide knowledge of the local market and offering a full range of commercial and residential property management services to a range of businesses and government entities, the new hire takes on a key role for the firm in the kingdom, said the statement from CBRE.

Lynch has been appointed as the head of CBRE Bahrain’s property management service line and is responsible for leading the property and facility management team.

The 15-strong property management team in Bahrain currently manages a diverse portfolio of 24 properties including retail, commercial office, industrial and residential properties.

The project's annual rental income stands at around $27 million and the total lettable area under management is estimated at 265,000 sq m.

Lynch joins CBRE having previously held the position of deputy general manager at Impact Estate in Bahrain.

Ciaran has also gained significant property management experience over the past 15 years, taking responsibility for regional malls and diverse property portfolios for major developers and real estate firms in Ireland, including Harcourt Developments, Lisney and Savills.

Ciaran is a qualified chartered surveyor, specialising in property and facilities management and is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors as well as the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.

Commenting on the appointment, Richard Botham, general manager, CBRE Bahrain, said, “We welcome Ciaran, whose experience will prove invaluable as we continue to drive exceptional results for our clients.”
