Arada plans to build a 50-floor residential tower in Zabeel 2

In UAE, Sharjah headquartered Arada purchased a 138,466sq.ft land worth US$163.4 Mn in Dubai’s Zabeel 2 district. Arada plans to build a 50-floor luxury residential tower containing 400 apartments on the plot.

Damac awards two contracts for Damac Hills 2 project

Damac Properties awarded two contracts as part of the main works package worth US$82 Mn for its Damac Hills 2 project. The first contract for the construction of 439 villas and townhouses in the Natura cluster was awarded to the Dubai branch of China Tiesiju Civil Engineering Group. 

The second contract for the development of roads and infrastructure for the key Farmhouse, Verona, Natura and Violet clusters, was awarded to InfraNets Contracting.

Excel Astra builds a fabrication factory at KEZAD

Oil and gas contractor Excel Astra Engineering and Construction Group announced its plans to build a US$5.4 Mn fabrication factory at Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (Kezad). The 45,000 sq.m facility is expected to create 400 jobs.

Emerson partners with Saudi Amana Group for a project at SPARK

Emerson has chosen Saudi Amana Group to construct its industrial manufacturing hub at the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) in Saudi Arabia. The new facility is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2024.

TAQA, Vision Invest and GIC Consortium wins Juranah Project

A consortium comprising Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), Vision International Investment Company (Vision Invest) and Gulf Investment Corporation (GIC) has been announced as the winning consortium for the Juranah Independent Strategic Water Reservoir Project (ISWR-1) in Saudi Arabia’s Makkah region. 

The total project cost is estimated at US$ 408.5 Mn and will be executed BOOT (Build, Own, Operate, Transfer) model.

KAPP launches request for qualification for a solar project

The Kuwait Authority for Partnership Projects (KAPP), in collaboration with the Ministry of Electricity & Water & Renewable Energy, initiated the qualification process for companies and consortia to participate in a tender to develop the Al Dibdibah Power and Al Shagaya Renewable Energy – Phase III – Zone 1 Solar PV Independent Power Producer (IPP) project with a net capacity of 1,100 MW. March 7th 2024 is the deadline set for the applications.
