Phase 1 of Sa'ada project in Bahrain expected to be finished in Q4 2019

According to *Constructionweekonline news report, Bahrain's Deputy Premier, and chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company's board of directors and of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, has reviewed construction progress on the Sa'ada project that Bahrain Real Estate Investment Co (Edamah) is developing in Muharraq, within the framework of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
During the visit, attended by ministers and officials from various government departments, the deputy premier was provided updates on the project's first phase, or Western Phase.
Phase 1 of Sa'ada, expected to be finished in the fourth quarter of this year, is 64% compete.
This phase features the construction of seven buildings that are 81% complete, 32 multi-purpose retail units, a multi-storey car park, external parking lots, a public park, public spaces, and a port.
The deputy premier was also informed about the initial designs of Sa'ada’s 1.2ha second phase, on which work is expected to begin following the completion of the first phase.
The second phase includes car parks, retail units, restaurants, and cafés, plus a pedestrian bridge to link the old market in Muharraq to the waterfront of the project, according to Bahrain's state news agency, BNA.Back to all Construction News
