Saudi Arabia announces plans to build 11 more stadiums

The stadiums, each with a minimum capacity of 45,000, are scheduled to be built in the provinces of Madinah, Al-Qassim, Eastern Province, Asir, Tabuk, Hail, Northern Border Region, Jazan, Najran, Baha and Al-Jouf. For the construction of these stadia, the existing King Abdullah Football Stadium and Sports City will be used as a template .
There are currently 23 large stadiums in different regions of Saudi Arabia, according to Saudi Press Agency.The King’s decision was based on his support for the country’s youth and desire to achieve balanced development for all regions, it added.Back to all Construction News
