SSPD and Ghantoot Group to develop Dhs.860 million luxury resort in Saadiyat Island

Shaikh Mohammad Bin Suroor Al Nahyan signed an agreement on Tuesday with Ali Mohammad Sadeq Al Beloushi, chairman of the Ghantoot Group, to develop the resort, according to a statement released on Wednesday.

The Dhs.860 million luxury resort will consist of a 295-room hotel comprised of four wings, a spa, wellness centre, gym and meeting rooms. The resort will also have 11 luxury villas, including one exclusive private villa. The resort is expected to be completed by the end of 2017.

Sami Al Khuwaiter, projects director at Shaikh Suroor Projects Department (SSPD) said in a statement, “The Saadiyat Island Resort will be a world-class luxury destination at the heart of the UAE’s capital and is the latest in SSPD’s long line of developments, all aimed at creating regional landmarks with the utmost quality.”

The luxury resort is designed by DBI Design.
