According to news reports by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Kuwait has signed a contract worth an estimated KD265 million (US$928 million) with a leading building contractor for the expansion of the Farwaniya Hospital. The contract between the Health Ministry and Sayyed Hameed Behbehani will include designing, equipping and maintaining of the hospital.[..]
4th September 2014According to news reports, Dubai-based developer Nakheel has made progress on its Deira Islands Mall and Palm West Beach projects after it signed designed and engineering contracts worth US$12.5 million with RSP Architects, Planners and Engineers.
Tenders for the construction of both projects are expected to be released before the end of 2014. A 620,000 square meter retail and entertainment hub will be developed at Deira Islands, the contract for which with RSP is worth US$ 10.8 million. Deira Islands is Nakheel’s 15.3 square kilometer waterfront city currently under construction in Dubai.[..]
3rd September 2014According to news in Arabian Business, Crystal Lagoons Corp, the patented technology developer of giant crystalline lagoons, has unveiled its latest Middle East mega project with the launch of a project in Saudi Arabia.
The second project in the kingdom for Crystal Lagoons, the lagoon will be the leisure centerpiece of a 240-hectare mixed-use project under development by the Prince Sultan Cultural Centre (PSCC), located just north of the Red Sea coastal city of Jeddah. Valued at US$4 billion, the project will include a dedicated medical city, cultural centre, educational facilities, luxury hotels, residential villas and apartments supported by extensive leisure facilities including the country's first-ever Jack Nicklaus 9 hole golf course.[..]
