Wade Adam secures internal road contract from Dubai's RTA

According to *Tradearabia news report, Wade Adams, a Dubai-based construction and project development company, said it has secured a major contract from Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) for the construction of 77-km-long internal roads and street lighting in Al Khawaneej 2.

As per the contract, Wade Adams will build 68km of single roads and 9km of collector dual carriageways, said the company in a statement.

The project is part of the RTA’s five-year plan endorsed by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to construct internal roads in several residential areas of Dubai.

The scope of work includes construction of roadway signage, pavement marking, street lighting and minor storm water drainage systems and utility works, it stated.

It also comprises the construction of the associated infrastructure works, which includes rainwater drainage network, enhancements to the electricity and water networks, and street lighting.
