Carlson Rezidor announces opening of its new hotel in Saudi Arabia

Carlson Rezidor announced the opening of its newest property in Saudi Arabia, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Jeddah.

"Saudi Arabia enjoys a growing economy and Jeddah continues to be an important city for domestic tourism in the country," said Mark Willis, area vice president Middle East and Turkey, the Rezidor Hotel Group , according to constructionweekonline news reports.

"Our primary concern is to maintain the high standards and quality reputation we have established wherever we have our hotels and I am confident that the new Radisson Blu Plaza Jeddah will complement our growth in the Kingdom and become a bastion of supreme hotel service and guest satisfaction," he adds.

Located close to local businesses and near to Jeddah's Al Andalus Square project, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is ideally positioned for business, leisure, and pleasure. Guests also have easy access to Al Andalus and Al Salam malls.

The property has 112 rooms and suites, and are designed to be a premier accommodation choice in Jeddah, with separated lounge and bedroom areas.

With a pipeline of properties in the Middle East region, Saudi Arabia represents a key growth market for Carlson Rezidor .

The group currently operates 9 hotels in the Kingdom, including the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Jeddah, with a plan to operate more than 20 properties across the country in the next three years.
