RAK properties awards Al Tameer US$ 100 mn Bermuda Villas Residential project
Posted on 21st November 2014RAK Properties has been awarded the construction contract for its US$ 100 million worth residential project Bermuda Villas in Ras Al Khaimah to Al Tameer Group.Construction of the 157 three to six bedroom villas and townhouses, by Al Tameer is expected to begin by this month to include facilities such as a private beach, exclusive swimming pools for adults and children, a children's play area, and a multipurpose court.
Egyptian Group Al Bonian Consultant Engineers are the designers for the complex along with playing the role of lead consultant during the construction phase. Mohammad Sultan Al Qadi, Managing Director and CEO, RAK Properties, said: "Our development project comes at a time when we are witnessing a rising demand for quality beachfront property in Ras Al Khaimah." according to a statement by RAK properties.
The project is part of the company's flagship master development , Mina Al Arab, a mixed -use leisure development along the Arabian Gulf in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. Mina Al Arab will cover an area of 2.8 million square meters and spread along 13 kilometers along a beachfront strip. The project will have four five-star resort hotels, a cluster of 320 villas, six gated communities, a protected coastal wetlands and natural pristine beaches among other attractions. The Bermuda Villas at the Mina Al Arab is scheduled for completion in third quarter of 2016.
