Rixos to open second Dubai hotel in 2016

Rixos Hotels, an international hospitality group, has unveiled plans to open a new project at Jumeirah Beach Resort in Dubai, UAE, next year, according to news reports.
The Walk, located centrally along the pristine shorelines of JBR, will be an urban retreat, with ‘first-of-its-kind’ experiences designed for every stage of the guest journey, according to a company news release.
Spacious waterfront guest bedrooms and suites and residential apartments will feature alongside world-class dining, uncompromised service and unmatched leisure facilities - combined to deliver an ultra-cosmopolitan oasis for both urbanites of Dubai and international wanderlusts.
Bugra Berberoglu, the group's CEO, said: "This new project will take the urban resort experience to a new and unmatched level. What we are creating here is something different. The market for luxury hospitality is substantially over saturated in Dubai, so we will offer something that goes beyond the traditional luxury five-star experiences and open a destination within a destination that everybody will be talking about.”
Inspired by precious stone, the structure of Crystal Towers (which will house Rixos The Walk,) will defy the conventional design of a Dubai hotel, setting a benchmark of architectural innovation that serves as a landmarrk visible from JBR, The Marina, Palm Jumeirah and beyond.
Construction of the towers started in 2014 and is due for completion in 2016. It will open for the public in Q2 of 2016.Back to all Construction News
