Technovaa Packaging breaks ground on new manufacturing facility at Abu dhabi's KIZAD

According to news reports in local daily Khaleej Times, Technovaa Packaging Industries has started constructing their Dh 250 million worth manufacturing facility at the Abu Dhabi’s Khalifa Industrial Zone, or Kizad.

Technovaa is the industrial arm of Dubai-based Darvesh Group, which is a leading paper products/plastic film producers in the region, performed the ground–breaking of its new manufacturing facility at Kizad.

The company plans to export 60 per cent of the productions to European, Middle East and African markets and cater to the local demand.

Technovaa Industries’ new manufacturing facility in Kizad will be a state of the art facility that will further support their other branches in Dubai.

The company has also made a name for itself outside the UAE, with manufacturing facilities for industrial and consumable packaging in other parts of the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe. Due to the ever increasing consumer awareness and importance of using eco-friendly products, Technovaa has pioneered the use of biodegradable and recycling technology.

Mohammed Jumma Al Shamisi, chief executive officer of Abu Dhabi Ports Company, or ADPC, welcomed the leading paper and plastic film producers, to the industrial zone, which has the market access to more than 4.5 billion potential customers and business partners worldwide.

He said the facility will not only offer Technovaa Packaging Industries Ltd enhanced supply chain efficiencies but guarantee smooth, time and cost effective import and export activities.
