AE Arma-Elektropanç has been awarded the MEP contract for the Riverland Dubai district of Dubai Parks & Resorts.

The contract fee for the works is almost $14 million (AED$3.81 million), according to the Turkey-headquartered company, according to constructionweekonline news report.

In June 2016, AE Arma-Elektropanç scooped the MEP contract for the nearby Legoland Dubai theme park, which is also being constructed as part of the Dubai Parks & Resorts development.

Riverland Dubai will offer 20,440 square metres of leasable space, providing a retail, dining, and entertainment district that allows visitors to experience four different eras: 17th Century France, 19th Century Europe, Colonial India, and 1950s Americana.

The project’s river and surrounding retail outlets will be accessible via water taxi, train, and on foot. Riverland Dubai will act as a gateway to the three main theme parks that comprise Dubai Parks & Resorts: the aforementioned Legoland Dubai; Bollywood Parks; and motiongate Dubai.

AE Arma-Elektropanç will conduct MEP works at the project alongside main contractor, Kier Dubai. The package is scheduled to be completed before the destination opens to the public in October 2016.
