Al Jaber Energy services wins US$ 125 mn Abu Dhabi energy contract

Al Jaber Energy Services, a subsidiary of Al Jaber Group, has secured a major general civil and buildings project on the South and North Islands of the four artificial Islands developed by Zadco belonging to Upper Zakum Offshore Field located 84 kilometers from Abu Dhabi, from energy giant Petrofac Emirates LLC, valued at more than Dh460 million (US$ 125 million), according to news reports in Gulf News.

upper-zakum The project is a continuation of the three other ongoing projects AJES have on the four artificial islands. AJES’s existing clients on these artificial islands are ZADCO, Technip-NPCC Consortium and Petrofac Emirates LLC.

The scope of the project involves the entire infrastructure, piling, foundations, buildings, underground piping, seawater intake and other associated work involving all of the marine logistics.
