Power + Water Middle East is the region’s premier showcase for the power and water sectors.  The event is run in partnership with Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA). The show has the support of the Society of Engineers – UAE, a very valuable partner who provides us with the support of the engineering fraternity in the UAE.

The event will bring together developers, manufacturers, buyers and service providers from a range of sectors in power and water to meet, discuss and invest in current products and technologies in the related industries.

2.    Who are the major companies on the show floor?

The 2013 edition has already attracted around 100 exhibitors from 25 countries who wish to network and offer solutions to regional power generation, water and nuclear energy industries.

Major exhibitors at the show include Jindal Saw, Saint-Gobain Pam, Gersan Elektrik, Intertek, Omicron, Phenix Technologies, Pruftechnik Middle East, Regulation & Supervision Bureau and Sterling & Wilson Powergen.

Furthermore, for the first time in the history of the event the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be organising a government supported national pavilion where they will promote a host of Indian manufacturers from the power and water sectors. The event returns with the popular Power + Water Leaders’ Forum however this year we will introduce a new topic including renewable energy as one of the key themes.

The forum will take place alongside the exhibition on the first day providing an opportunity for senior level professionals in the power and water industries to network with key industry players not only from the region but across the world to discuss and debate core topics affecting the power and water sectors across the GCC.

In addition to the Leaders’ Forum, there will also be a workshop organised by Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) on prequalification of LV equipment in Abu Dhabi.
