Products, expertise and inspiration all in one location.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 25 April, 2016 - Middle East Covering, the MENA region’s largest and only event for the interior surface industry, returns to the Dubai World Trade Centre from May 23-26. The event provides a unique platform for the industry to network and source new products, knowledge share and be inspired by new ideas. The feature-packed exhibition will take place alongside Middle East Stone.
Middle East Covering, which is owned and organized by Dubai-based dmg events, will attract more than 200 of the leading surface interior brands from around the world. As well as introducing visitors to new industry techniques and technologies, it will also give them a chance to obtain up to 21 professional certified hours free of charge for the design community through a series of workshops and seminars.
“Our international exhibitors will bring with them international ideas,” said Yan Wang, event director for both Middle East Stone and Middle East Covering. “We believe it is essential to ensure that we give everyone the best opportunities possible to share their ideas over the four days of the event.”
The exhibition will see the Designers’ Forum return, ready to explore new trends in wall and floor coverings and offering special insight into the needs of healthcare, hospitality and real estate facilities. Running from 11:00am to 4pm each day, the forum will host the region’s design community as it explores the ever expanding range of design trends that surfaces present.
“Engaging with the region’s design community is a great way to see how trends in coverings and their applications are developing in the region,” added Wang.
Also returning this year is an expanded programme of continuous professional development (CPD) workshops and seminars. Staying up to date with changing technologies and advancing practices takes effort but at Middle East Covering a large selection of free-to-attend certified workshops and seminars will make it a whole lot easier. There are sessions running on all four days of the event. All workshops have clearly outlined learning objectives and will be delivered by speakers who are experts in their field.
While access to the seminars and workshops is free, spaces are limited so it is essential for visitors to pre-register now to avoid disappointment.
Coverings and surface materials are a hugely valuable component of the construction industry in the MENA region. With interior fit out contracts worth millions under way the contracting community and design industry professionals will need full visibility over the latest products, technologies and current trends if they are to find the best solutions for their projects and compete in this region’s market.Back to all Construction News
