CB&I today announced Chevron Lummus Global, a joint venture between CB&I and Chevron, has been awarded a contract in excess of US$ 100 million by Bahrain Petroleum Co. (Bapco). The scope of work includes the license of its LC-FININGTM and ISOCRACKING® technologies and engineering design packages for the new residue hydrocracking and vacuum gasoil hydrocracking units for the BAPCO Modernization Program, according to a press release by the company.[..]

First phase of US$ 13.3 bn Makkah Pilgrim City project underway

Work on the first phase of a US$ 13.32 billion  (SAR 50 billion) project to build a “Pilgrim City” in the holy city of Madinah is underway, according to news reports in Arab News. Mecca Mosque
