Structural framing on the Four Seasons Hotel on Abu Dhabi's Al Maryah Island has been completed and the five-star development is on track for Q2 2016 opening, said the operator Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, in a joint statement issued with Mubadala Development Company, the master-planner of the Al Maryah Island.
The last concrete pillar on the roof of the five-star establishment was cemented at a ceremony witnessed by Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, Deputy Group CEO & CEO of Emerging Sectors at Mubadala , Ali Eid AlMheiri, Executive Director, Mubadala Real Estate & Infrastructure, along with Simon Casson, Regional Vice President & General Manager Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach.
With structural elements in place, construction will now move forward with the completion of the façade and internal components to the hotel.
On completion, the 34 floor hotel will consist of 190 hotel guestrooms, 54 serviced apartments, 1,290 square meters of meeting and conference facilities, along with a rooftop pool and 300 square meter garden overlooking Al Maryah Island's waterfront promenade.
Located next to the central office buildings and The Galleria, the hospitality offering is expected to add more allure to the Al Maryah Island, which is an integrated, 114-hectare mixed-use development. It has been designated as Abu Dhabi's Central Business District, modeled on the world's leading mixed-use 24-hour financial districts.
