New airport in Musandam move to second phase

A new airport in Musandam, Oman, has moved to the second phase. Dr Mohammed bin Nasser bin Ali Al Zaabi, chief executive officer of the Public Authority for Civil Aviation said in a statement that the second phase of the project has been initiated and will cover estimation of cost and preparation of the general outline of the airport in accordance with the best international specifications.
The airport is expected to be the sixth in the country, in addition to Muscat, Salalah, Sohar, Duqm and Khasab.
