Saudi ‘s first Marine Park planned at Dhahban on Red Sea shores

 According to an Arab News report, Saudi Arabia is all set to build its first Marine Park on the shores of the Red Sea at Dhahban, a popular Saudi picnic spot and fishing, 40 kilometres from Jeddah. Jeddah Municipality recently announced the project which had been under study for the past four years. The park will include a wide array of recreational facilities including a football playground, children’s entertainment areas, a waterfront with lots of landscaping and greenery and restaurants and other facilities.

The park would be spread over an area of 110,000 square meters with landscaping covering 45,000 square meters and featuring two water fountains.
