Preparation work has begun on Falcon Island in Ras Al Khaimah with the clearing of the private island ahead of the construction of 150 properties. Situated at the heart of Al Hamra Village, Al Hamra Real Estate Development said that Falcon Island is set to play host to one of the most sustainable pieces of real estate in the Middle East, and will combine sustainable buildings with the latest smart city technologies and exquisite craftsmanship of Italy’s luxury furniture masters Clubhouse Italia – Luxury Living.

From the outside, Falcon Island will boast architecture designed by leading European green architects, while on the inside, residents will be able to take in the exclusive lifestyle from the comfort of home furniture ranges that include Bentley Home, Fendi Casa, and Kenzo Maison. It will be the first time that Bentley Home will make their interior range available anywhere in the UAE.

Al Hamra Real Estate Development have also launched a new homebuilder app that will enable homebuyers to customize a bespoke property on their iPad, from anywhere in the world.

Falcon Island will also include the first GCC Radiant cooling technology of its kind in the GCC region, providing an energy-efficient system that will offer residents fresh and healthy temperature control within their homes. Innovative hybrid cooling systems will utilise solar and conventional energy to provide cooling from a district cooling facility to homes on Falcon Island – also a first for the GCC region. Meanwhile, solar stations and smart technologies will play an important role in powering homes and common facilities, and in helping homeowners to monitor their energy consumption, according to news reports on ConstructionWeekOnline.com.
