Ecotherm consulting wins Al Raha Beach MEP contract

According to news reports in ConstructionWeekOnline.com, Ecotherm Contracting (ETC) has secured an MEP contract for work on the Al Raha Beach development in Abu Dhabi. The project, Plot PC 501, contains four residential buildings of ten stories and 31 townhouses.
ETC will be responsible for all the MEP works including engineering detailing, procuring, installing, testing and commissioning, and handover of all systems. These include water supply, drainage, storm water, firefighting, air conditioning, ventilation, low current systems, and the entire low voltage and medium voltage works including substations and street lightings.
The towers and townhouses have common parking facilities placed on podiums, with extensive landscaping upon the podium roof at level 1, comprising of three separate zones between towers.
The project also comprises a sky garden, swimming pool and children’s play area, changing rooms and gymnasium looking out over the swimming pool deck, as well as roads with associated landscape areas. The project’s client is Aabar Investments PSJ, with Khatib and Alami Consultants supervising and a Murray & Roberts/Ghanoot joint venture executing the work.Back to all Construction News
