All of The Sustainable City’s (TSC) residences will be completed before the end of this year, according to news reports.
Diamond Developers announced today that TSC’s first residents will be able to move into their new homes this year, according to Construction Week Online (CW).
Despite the fact that construction of the Dubai-situated project only began in February of last year, Diamond said that Phase 1 of TSC is on course to complete by the third quarter of 2015.
“In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Diamond Developers is thrilled to turn the vision of sustainable living in Dubai into a reality,” commented the developer’s CEO, Faris Saeed.
“[TSC] was launched in 2014 with the support of Dubai Land Department, with a focus on sustainable living through a multitude of social, environmental, and economic initiatives,” he added.
Phase 1 of TSC comprises five 100-villa residential clusters, a community mall, a central ‘green spine’ an equestrian centre, horse, bicycle, walking and jogging tracks, and all infrastructural works.
Phase 2, meanwhile, will include the construction of an eco-resort, a country club, a green school, a science museum, and The Sustainability Centre of Excellence. Saeed told CW that all construction at TSC would complete before the end of 2016.Back to all Construction News
